2022-2023 School Year Begins TUESDAY 9/6/22
We are excited to launch our 36th school year since the school’s history! In the midst of the global pandemic our school continues to thrive adding a 3rd grade to the elementary level and continuing to have students from 6th to 12th grade in the jr high/high school level. We are glad to welcome students from all around the world for IN-CLASS mask optional instruction, as well as online instruction for our students who remain stuck in their home countries. We have onsite medical staff including an MD and nurse who helps monitor the cleanliness procedures and COVID19 situation as we navigate this time together. The health of our students remains our utmost priority but not just the physical health but the mental, emotional, and spiritual health as well!
ADCS continues to be a proud family who is excited to add students from local cities but also international students from around the world. We continue to excel in education as well as a rich legacy in sports like golf. We love our students from Anaheim, Fullerton, and Garden Grove but we also love our students from Vietnam, Thailand, France, Brazil and China! Our school year will start on Thursday, September 9th at 8:30 am with student orientation in the chapel. Students will enjoy their day together getting to know their teachers, campus, and one another through different activities. For many, it will be the first time they have seen another student in person in a year. Most of our students over 12 have been vaccinated for COVID19 although vaccination for COVID19 is not a requirement at our school. Once again we continue to monitor the situation for the well being of our students and their families.
We continue to offer classes that prepare students for the AP exams in May. Our students crushed the exams last year and 95% of our Class of 2021 are going to college/universities around the world. Many of them even received scholarships. We are so proud of them! Our golf team played until the final day finished #1 individually and #3 as a team! What will they do this year with the addition of 3 more golfers from Thailand and 1 more from China alongside our already stacked team! It’s going to be fun! Our basketball adds an amazing player from France and two more from Orange County and so we are very excited about that as well! There is so much happening this year and we can’t wait to have a normal, exciting, yet cautious school year this year!
We are still accepting applications for grades 6th to 11th grade and 12th grade under some circumstances and continue to offer our affordable tuition with our superior education. We are grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ to whom we dedicate our lives and our school year. We pray that He continues to give us the opportunity to teach our students to help them achieve them dreams academically and athletically while training them to be good and moral people as well.
