ADCS is glad to offer an extremely rigorous program that has higher requirements than that of the state, Cal State Universities, and UC’s.  This program has allowed our 4-year students to successful apply and be accepted to universities throughout the U.S.

International Students

We offer a 4 level ESL program broken down by the following criteria:

 

  • ESL 1 – Students have no knowledge of the English language

  • ESL 2 –  Students can do two of the following fluently: read, write, understand, or speak the English language.

  • ESL 3 – Students can do three of the following fluently: read, write, understand, or speak the English language.

  • ESL 4 – Students can read, write, understand, and speak the English language completely and need to be introduced to American culture.

We do not offer ESL classes on their own. 

In other words, we will not create an I-20 only for ESL classes.  WE ARE NOT A LANGUAGE SCHOOL.  We are a state approved Christian private jr. high/high school.  ESL is taken alongside are other coursework for extra work in studying learning English with particular emphasis on a student’s verbal skills. 1st year international students are asked to take a 6 week summer session course in ESL offered by the school to get a continuity of practice speaking and learning English but only students who are currently enrolled at the school may take that summer session course.
