English- includes
grammar, usage, composition (book reports, research paper, many writing
processes), vocabulary, spelling, poetry, and literature. World History- a study from Creation to the present in Christian perspective including geography, parliamentary procedure, and current events. Science/Health- twenty-six weeks of science that introduces students to the scientific method and applies to soil science, plants, the human body, principles of physical science, air, weather, classification, creation, and insects. Eight weeks of social and mental health, personal appearance, drug abuse, and spiritual fitness. Science project also conducted during the year. Basic Mathematics- maintaining skills in fundamental operations plus finances, graphs, statistics; introduction to algebra, plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry. Bible Computers/Music P .E. |

U.S. History- narrative study of exploration and settlement of new land, birth and building of America, testing and triumph from Civil War to present. Includes geography study, state history, and current events. Science/Health-one semester of general science includes astronomy and physical science. One semester of health-physical fitness, nutrition, disease, first aid, and spiritual growth. Science project also conducted during the year.
